Account Executive — Political & Advocacy SaaS

Help grow the technology powering advocacy.

Advocora and Conservative States are growing, and we're looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Account Executive to help organizations discover better tools for CRM, advocacy, fundraising, and legislative intelligence.

This is a full-time remote sales role with a $45,000 base salary, uncapped commission, and performance bonuses. The ideal candidate understands the nonprofit, political, advocacy, public-policy, or conservative organizational landscape and is comfortable developing relationships, conducting software demonstrations, and closing new business.

Compensation

What you can earn.

Four things add up to your pay: a guaranteed base salary, a bonus on every new subscription, a share of the revenue those subscriptions collect, and milestone bonuses as your book grows.

Reaching roughly 75 active subscriptions in your first year puts you in that range. Commission is uncapped, so strong performance goes higher — but this is earning potential, not guaranteed earnings.

$45KBase salary

Reliable base compensation while you build your pipeline.

$150 + 10%Per new subscription

$150 when a qualified subscription closes, plus 10% of collected subscription revenue for the first 12 months.

$9,000Milestone bonuses

$1,500 at 25 active subscriptions, an additional $2,500 at 50, and an additional $5,000 at 75. Cumulative.

UncappedEarning potential

No ceiling on subscription commissions. Sell more, earn more.

One subscription, retained 12 months

Subscriptions are $249/month, or $2,490/year.

New subscription bonus$150
10% of $2,988 first-year collected revenue$298.80
Variable compensation$448.80

On the $2,490 annual plan, the same subscription pays $399 in year one. Either way, it's on top of your $45,000 base salary.

Commission is paid on collected subscription revenue — what a customer actually pays — and milestone bonuses are measured in active paid subscriptions, where an organization on both products counts as two.

The portfolio

Two products. One market.

You'll sell two complementary SaaS platforms into overlapping markets — which means every relationship you build can produce more than one subscription.

Product one

Advocora

CRM and advocacy technology built for nonprofit and advocacy organizations.

  • Constituent and donor management
  • Fundraising and email
  • Advocacy campaigns, events, and memberships

Subscription · $249/month or $2,490/year

Product two

Conservative States

Legislative intelligence and state-policy technology for organizations that need to monitor and understand state legislation.

  • Bill tracking and legislative monitoring
  • AI-powered bill analysis and policy intelligence
  • State-level legislative research and workflows

Subscription · $249/month or $2,490/year

One organization can be two subscriptions.

An advocacy organization may need Advocora for CRM and fundraising while also using Conservative States to monitor the legislation it cares about. One relationship becomes two subscriptions — and you earn the bonus and commission on both.

The role

Build the pipeline. Close the business.

You'll sell to nonprofits, advocacy and public-policy organizations, PACs, campaigns, associations, and think tanks — with a particular focus on conservative and center-right organizations.

What You'll Do

The work itself.

  • Build and manage a qualified B2B sales pipeline
  • Prospect outbound and develop relationships with organizational leaders
  • Schedule and conduct live software demonstrations
  • Recommend the right product for each organization's needs
  • Close new paid subscriptions and identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Coordinate new-customer handoff and onboarding
  • Develop referrals, partnerships, and conference opportunities

This role is entrepreneurial. We're not hiring someone to work inbound leads — we want someone who can build relationships and create opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate.

  • Experience in SaaS sales, nonprofit fundraising, political campaigns, advocacy, public affairs, or business development
  • Confident conducting live software demonstrations
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting
  • Strong communicator with executive directors and organizational leaders
  • Highly organized and self-directed in a remote environment
  • Persistent, relationship-oriented, and results-driven

Strong preference for existing relationships in the conservative nonprofit, advocacy, political, fundraising, campaign, or public-policy community.
